Lynard Skynard knew what they were talking about.

Freebird.

We know it.  We love it.  We've requested it at every concert we've ever attended, no matter the artist.  Or maybe we've just heard all the drunkards request it at every concert we've ever attended.

No matter because the request has come to gg.

AND WE ARE PLAYING THE SONG!

Hear the tune?  It's saying we have a sterling silver bird pendant on a 16" sterling silver oxidized popcorn chain that can be personally handstamped with a letter of your choice FOR FREE!!!
WHAT WHAT WHAT DID YOU SAY, SKYNARD?

Freebird.

$28 on the shelves of gg.

I'm not a professional blog commenter, but here goes...

Were I to name the bird(and I would, I name everything), I would name it Sunshine. I equate most everything good in the world with sunshine. When I'm up at night unable to sleep, I watch the window waiting to see sunlight. When there's a sunny day, you can run around outside, not constrained by the walls in your house. You can be free, much like a bird;) I've seen stories on TV of people sick in the hospital or even in prison who said if they could just feel the sunshine on their
faces, they would feel free. Sunshine=freedom in my book. So, there it is. Sunshine:)

I'd name it Hope. After the Emily Dickenson poem (or is it a line in a poem?) ...
Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
and never stops at all.

ps - If I'm the big winner Kelly has my email :)

I would name it Paloma (spanish for Dove). A Dove has many repesentations, but the main one for me is it's symbol for Peace. Without Peace, no one can truly feel free. No matter where the Peace comes from (God, Friends, Family), there is no better feeling!

I would name it Zoe - which means life - When we rise out of the waters of baptism, life descends on us. When the rivers of the details of our lives threaten to overtake us- true life in God descends on us like a dove freeing us from the burdens which weigh us down so we will not drown in the torrent. Zoe - here's to life!

To name the birdie, I would name it Francesca. It's a French name for "free." It also has the name Frances in it, which means "free spirit." And it's part of my first name, Mary Frances. Francesca can be fun to say too.

I would name it HOPE. Hope gives me freedom to dream and create and free myself from fear of man. Thus the "free" bird!

How about Dolly, Darlin, or Dorene the Dove? You could also use David. Nothing wrong with a boy name.

I also like Dee Dee the Dove. It rolls off of the tongue so nicely.

Eireinei is the Greek word for peace. Mental attitude of tranquility based on a relationship with God in the Christian way of life.

You need to name it KJ. And you know it's true...even though I'm terrified of birds, I'd be okay with one being named after me. Maybe it would help me conquer my fear.
And you need to name it kj b/c you know I'm your BFF. And everytime you would look at the bird, it would make you think of me. So it would be sentimental. That's all!! :)
